Anthony Antoine is a community activist, performance poet and recognized trailblazer of the LGBT out and proud music scene. Since 1999, Anthony has worked closely with non-profits on the front lines of HIV/STI prevention and research in Atlanta, with a tireless focus on MSM communities for AID Atlanta, ARCA, and most recently, as a Senior Research Coordinator at Emory University. Anthony married his best friend Michael in 2016, but lost him to a short battle with cancer less than 2 years later. They shared a twenty-year commitment that inspired Anthony starting The Michael-Anthony Foundation (at
